日本科学未来館「“ちり”も積もれば世界をかえる − 宇宙・地球・生命の探求」にて、展示演出を担当しました。本展示では、エリアのファサードから導入、エピローグにかけて、6台のプロジェクターと3台のスピーカーを同期させ、移ろい変化し続ける映像空間を構築しています。ミクロからマクロへと広がる世界像、人類が好奇心とともに歩んできた科学の歴史、そして基礎科学が投げかける根源的で壮大な問い——これらを専門書のように難解に伝えるのではなく、誰もが子供の頃に抱いていた「世界への眼差し」の延長として、想像力を働かせながら体感できる空間を目指しました。本展示は同館5階にて常設公開されています。
I was in charge of the exhibition direction for "Many Small Insights = Major Discoveries: Explore the Universe, Earth, and Life" at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan). Spanning from the facade to the introductory area and epilogue, the installation synchronizes six projectors and three speakers to construct an ever-shifting video space. Rather than presenting complex scientific knowledge like a textbook—such as worldviews expanding from micro to macro, the history of human curiosity-driven science, and the foundational questions posed by basic science—the space was designed to be experienced imaginatively, extending the sense of wonder toward the world that everyone held as a child. This work is on permanent display on the museum's 5th floor.
