日本科学未来館の常設展示「“ちり”も積もれば世界をかえる − 宇宙・地球・生命の探求」において、空間・映像演出を担当し企画・制作したプロジェクトです。展示エリアのファサードから導入、エピローグに至る空間全体において、6台のプロジェクターと3台のスピーカーを同期させ、刻々と変化し続けるシームレスな映像空間を構築しました。
ミクロからマクロへと広がる世界像や、人類の好奇心が切り拓いてきた基礎科学の探求を、テキストによる解説にとどめず、誰もが幼少期に抱いていた「世界への原初的な眼差し」の延長として感じられる構成を目指しました。
鑑賞者がそれぞれの想像を広げながら体験できる展示として、同館5階にて常設公開されています。
A spatial and visual direction project planned and created for the permanent exhibition "Many Small Insights = Major Discoveries: Explore the Universe, Earth, and Life" at Miraikan – The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. Spanning the entire space from the facade to the entrance and epilogue, six synchronized projectors and three audio speakers construct an ever-shifting, seamless immersive visual environment.
Rather than relying purely on textual explanations for fundamental science and the vast scales connecting the microscopic to the macroscopic, the work aims for a composition in which these can be felt as an extension of the primal gaze toward the world that everyone held in childhood.
Designed so that each visitor can experience it while expanding their own imagination, the work is on permanent display on the museum's 5th floor.
