世界中のさまざまな童話をモチーフにしたピクセルアニメーションです。天井から床へ投影される映像を、手にした白い本をスクリーンに見立て「読む」ように鑑賞します。映像全体がひとつの巨大な地図のようになっており、多数のキャラクターたちがそれぞれの物語を同時に展開しています。鑑賞者は自ら空間を移動し、動いていくキャラクターや場面を追いながら物語を鑑賞していきます。11種類の童話を軸に多彩な遊びの要素がちりばめられ、思わず他者に共有したくなる仕掛けが随所に隠されています。本作で確立した鑑賞手法は《イデアの広場》、《よるにおもう》、《星つぶ屋》など多くの作品の原点となりました。「オープン・スペース 2011」（NTTインターコミュニケーション・センター [ICC]）にて制作・発表され、現在までに全国数十箇所の美術館で展示を重ねています。
A pixel animation inspired by various fairy tales from around the world. Viewers experience the work by using a white book held in their hands as a screen to "read" images projected downward from the ceiling to the floor. The overall projection functions like a single vast map where numerous characters simultaneously enact their respective stories. Viewers move through the space on their own, pursuing moving characters and scenes to navigate the narratives. Centered around eleven different fairy tales, the work is embedded with playful elements and subtle details that naturally invite viewers to share their discoveries with others. The viewing methodology established in this work served as the starting point for numerous subsequent installations, including Square of Idea, In the night, and Star Stall. Originally produced and presented for "Open Space 2011" at the NTT InterCommunication Center [ICC], the installation has since been exhibited at dozens of art museums across Japan.
